SME Bank Sponsors the Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association on “CWEA Expo 2023”

On 29 March 2023, Dr. Lim Aun, CEO of SME Bank has attended to the opening ceremony of “CWEA Expo 2023” which organized by Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association under presided by H.E Cham Nimol, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, H.E. Oknha Keo Mom, Chairwomen of CWEA, and participated from many institutions including the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Khmer Enterprise, and many SMEs members of CWEA.

This expo held with the objective (1) To empower and support women in business (2) To discuss deeply on the challenges women have encountered and viable solutions during the panel discussion (3) To enjoy women product Khmer new year hot promotion (4) To promote purchase power on local SMEs.

$2.3 million approved by SME Bank

The delegation from SME Bank of Cambodia paid a visit to the Policy Research Institute (PRI), the Ministry of Finance, Japan; and the Micro Business and Individual Unit, Japan Finance Corporation (JFC-Micro)

On May 20,2024, in Tokyo, H.E Dr. PHAN Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SME Bank of Cambodia presided over and led the delegates that included the Board of Directors, and the senior management of the Bank. The delegation paid a visit to the Policy Research Institute (PRI), the Ministry of Finance, Japan; and the Micro Business and Individual Unit, Japan Finance Corporation (JFC-Micro).
